Tell me something new, something i don't already know.

I'm Jingwen. It's common but my surname's not so if you really wanna know, I'm Cantonese although I can't speak/write/understand canto and I always eat potatoes (:

Girl guides graduation

compared to how i was i'm better. but my throat's really painful when i gulp down water and my back aches quite a bit when i cough or when my shirt just grazes over it. it does sound crazy but i'm not kidding. the one thing that remained the same was my tiredness. i wanted to blog for the other days but it'll be mostly on my sickness and i was too tired to even complete a sentence so i just left it for until i got better. anyway i'm just trying to keep awake.

thursday was surprising because some of my results were better than expected and although i stayed home i was relieved. physics improved but found out that it still wasn't good enough. basically i improved most of my subjects compared to mid years but those that i was supposed to maintain, dropped. but it's okay, i am going to do better for o level so watch out ;)

i wouldn't have come to school on friday if it wasn't for girl guides and i would've just slept at home since so many people didn't come. but luckily i came and our juniors planned so much to make our graduation ceremony a good one (:

i remember when i first came to balestier i wanted to go chinese orchestra cos both my sisters went there and it was something different from what i did back in primary school. after i found out i got girl guides as my cca i really didn't like it a lot. i could find every single fault with it and i thought i'd hate it for the rest of my life. in fact, i disliked it for 3 years of my life despite how happy i looked. it wasn't the kind of dislike where i thought the cca was screwed but the kind where i just didn't want to go for it. it was an all-girls cca and you had to think about one another's feelings cos you wouldn't know how that person would react to you like whether you or her was the bitch. the rules too made me feel very restricted and the most horrible thing they did was always keeping us back late. until our final year it didn't change but i was much more willing then.
then the last year came where we finally became leaders and it was so carefree. the thing about me is that i don't like to sit around and wait for people to tell me what to do before moving with everyone in a group. i didn't like the fact that i was considered a member of guides but i just wanted to do something that others couldn't really do. that was one part of me that caused my dislike. but being a leader i could sort of reach out to people. like you know if you were to talk to your members and you were average just like them there wouldn't be the sort of impact you want to give off. i liked being a leader because when they know that i know them, they wouldn't feel unspecial or insignificant. i mean that's how i always felt about these situations that's why i just like how i could make someone feel happier. it's ironic because i've never been someone whose had a lot to feel happy about but here i am trying to let others feel what i've been yearning to genuinely feel. i'm fine with it though, because i always feel good about myself afterwards (:

4 years with guides is memorable and i just hope that they do remember us (: they better because if not their tears were fake! hahaha kiddingggg but i'll try to remember them too (: crosses fingers.

after girl guides graduation i was thinking about our own graduation 3 weeks from now. i hope it'll all be fine and i'm already missing it. i won't elaborate anymore cos i'll leave it all for the day that i type the post.

peace out. (Y)
